we were dating for 3 and 1/2 years when he proposed and we will be together exactly 5 years when we get married

we were dating for 1 year and 9 months before he popped the question

I knew after about one though that he was the one and vice-versa.....just took awhile to save and we wanted to just enjoy us

We were just a month shy of our four year anniversary! I was engaged to the guy I dated before him and he dumped me, which made me a little hesitant about getting engaged quickly. Also, FH would not have been ready emotionally or fiancially before that time. We will be together five and a half years when we tie the knot this June!
