How long were you dating before FH proposed? We were dating 15 months with a 6 month engagement.

We got engaged on out 7th year anniversary and will be engaged 1 year and 2 weeks when we get married!!!

We were together for about 5 years when he proposed and it's been a longer engagement than we hoped for because he's a Marine and went on to his second tour right after he proposed.

When we get married, we'll just be shy of 8 years together.

We dated for exactly1 year and our engagement is 14 months. If I could do it over again I would have puched up the wedding date I wish it would just be here already.

It depends. If the ring made it official then 1 year & 6 months, BUT after like 6 months of dating , he asked me , cutsey, but asked.. Thought he was nutso,,

Probably would have been sooner but we always agreed to wait until after I graduate from college. I graduated May 06
