How many...

...Photographers did you girls look at before you knew you had found the 'one'? FH and I met with 2 photographers over the weekend and we really think one of them could be the 'one'. We love their style and really connected with them. FH says we should book so we don't lose the date, and part wants to as well. BUT the other part of me thinks we should still look at a few others, just in case we find something better. The only thing is that we would have to put this off till August when we will be back on LI again. I just don't know what to do...

Only 2.

Our photographer is the first one we met with, and when I met with the second one, I knew the first one was for us!

ETA: go with your gut. If you want to see more, then do it, but if you have a gut feeling, its probably a good thing.

I had made a rule that we had to see three before we decided on one. The first was LoveMore. We saw two more, then decided LoveMore was the best. By that time, they were booked. We had to look at another three before we found the photographer we ended up using, Photo Pink (who we love).

Do you want to see more photographers because you aren't sure about the one you saw or because you think you need to see a lot in general?

Go with your gut feeling. If you feel that one is right, then book it! You don't want to loose the date.

Thanks ladies! Again, so helpful! I realized that I just need to listen to my gut and book with the photographer that I loved. I'll post when it is official!!

We went to 5. The first one wasn't good (just drove by and saw it on the way home from going to the RH to show our Mom's). the 2nd 2 were both great and we were thinking that one of them could possibly be the 'one'. Finally our last photographer just blew the other ones out of the water, and fit us perfectly. So I guess it probably just depends on you and your FH. I'm happy we took the extra time to see a few extra photographers though

For all my vendors I did a ton of research online first and then found about 3 vendors to go and see. We had 2 photographer appointments and after we met with the first we just clicked and loved his work and the pricing, so we booked and just cancelled the next appt.
I think if you love their work, click with the person and pricing is within budget then go with them. If you're having any doubt or there was 1 thing you didn't like then see some other vendors for comparison.

1! we booked patken on the spot. my friend just used them and i loved how nice she was so we went for a consult and they were so friendly and really give you alot for your money. you def get a gut feeling when there 'the one' goodluck!!

i did a ton of research before I looked at photographers. I had my heart set on TP. I only went to see him and booked on the spot. My gut feeling told me his work was exactly what I wanted for my wedding pictures. I cancelled my other photography appts. after that.

we met with 3. Our photographer was the 3rd one we met and we new instantly that he was the photographer we should book. If you are really confident that they are the ones you want to book with i say go for it!

We went to 4 photographers. We were decided after we met with ours, which was #3 but the 4th appt was that same day so we kept it. The 4th appt made it even more clear who our choice was!
