How many

I think we looked at 8 or 9. Our engagement will be fairly short, 9 months. People actually asked if was pregnant when we told them the date! Which doesnt even make sense if you do the math lol.. But anyway, we were originally looking for May / June 2013 but fell in love with Sand Castle which was more on the pricey side, so we choose venue over time of year.

Planning a wedding in under a year is kind of stressful, but doable. Plus, I feel like if we would've had a long engagement I would've ended up spending even more money on the wedding.

we didn't look at any !!! lol, FH and I live out of state so we asked my parents to do our leg work. I called about 20 places, asked my parents to look at 5...and trusted them to pick one on our behalf. our engagement will be about 15 months. I would have preferred it to be a little shorter but FH has a deployment coming up

I cant even tell you how many places we looked at . When FH and I get married we will have just under a 4 year engagment. You guys think that 1-2 years goes fast! I cant believe that were gonna be engaged that long. Its been going by so fast!!!

I had 33 on my list, but stopped after 3 bc I fell in love with Sand Castle. When we get married we will have been engaged for 27 months

We visited about 14 halls (onky a few in LI though) before falling in love with the Swan Club. I did research on tons more though.

Our engagement will be 28 months.

We looked at 7. The Watermill was the very last one.

We will be engaged just under 2 years by the time we get married.

I have been thinking about this all night and I called my fiance at 7am lol and said that I think it would be
best if we did change it to Dec that way we can save more $ and not stress out!! He told me that he agrees 100%. I know it will go by fast and the more and more I am thinking about it I feel so much better changing it to Dec. Plus, it will be decorated for Christmas so nice! I am going to look at a few more places this week but I really feel The Inn is the place for us! I fell in love with it even more the 2nd time I saw it.

since we have been to most venues in long island for friends weddings, I was pretty familiar with a lot of places.. plus some of them were pretty ridiculous, i knew what i wanted and wasnt about to pay an arm and a leg for a place that I didnt like...

i looked at 3 and FH came with me right before I booked BYC.

we will be engaged a year and a half by the time we get married, and together for 12 1/2 years!

We saw 7 and the last one was it! Then we just stopped. Sand castle was the next appt. we had that day and we cancelled. Same owners so that's ok. LOL

We will have been engaged for 22 months

We went to 7-8 places.... at this point it is all a blurr...

We will be engaged for 2 1/2 years, together for 7 when we get married

I was also good with the one, but FH needed to see that where we were looking to book was the best for us and by showing him a few others and him getting sick of looking (LOL) he realized it

Seems like forever but the first year actually went really fast and it's now only 10 months away!
