I have a wedding party of 9 bridesmaids, two junior bridesmaids and one flower girl. I come from a large family, and my friends that I have in my wedding like my sisters whom I have literally known for my whole life. Anyway, everyone I tell how big my wedding party is makes some sort of rude comment to me, which is getting old. I was wondering how many bridesmaids everyone has? Is 9 too many?

I have 8 bridesmaids and a flower girl. Don't worry about other people's comments. If those people are all important to you and you want them to be part of your wedding, then do it. It's YOUR wedding. And good for you to have so many people that you are close with and that you care about.

LOL! I thought of that. So I picked the color and designer and they are picking their own dresses. Actually so far they have been surprisingly wonderful. Although sometimes I think by the time I walk down the aisle that everyone will be asleep from boredom

I have 8 BM a jr BM and a FG....it's totally up to you...usually people feel sorry for me LOL...I wouldn't worry....people always have comments...you just need to let it roll of your back and do what u want anyway

its your wedding have as many people as you want. Larger parties are great pictures and are always fun. I have 8 BM 7 GM 2 FG and 1 RB.

9 to me is alot, but you have to do what makes you happy. I had a smaller bridal party of 3. With a large bridal party just expect a little drama. Hopefully your girls are better and nicer then some and just are honored to be there for you and spare the drama.
Oh yeah I only had 3 BM and GM and there was drama there too! GOOD LUCK!

Its your wedding! You are lucky to have so many people close to you that you can share your day... Its even better that they WANT to!
I have 6 bridesmaid and a flowergirl Fh has 7 groomsmen and a ringbearer....

I am so with you!
I have 11 bridesmaids, 2 junior bridsmaids, and 3 flower girls
FH has 11 groomsmen, and 3 pillowboys for a grand total (including us) of 32 people in our bridal party. We get a lot of flack for having so many people, others think it is a great idea. All i know is that we're thrilled.

5 Bms and a flower girl.
Its your weding- do what you want! Hey- at least it will makeit cheaper for the BMs when they throw you a shower! More people to split the cost!

i have 3 - and some people are like wow you only have 3 bridesmaids.....but for me 3 is perfect - for you 9 is perfect. who cares what other people think! ignore them! i think 9, 3, 12, 5 - its all fine! its what you want - everyone is different

I have 6 Bms a junior Bm and 2 Fgs. Lots of people say that's alot, but these are my closest friends, sister and cousins. Oh well, I want them in my wedding, and it's no one's decision but mine & Fh.
I'm having 3, but I was just in a BP of 11. to each his own.

People can be so insensitive! I have 9 girls in my party also. I also have 4 flowergirls and 4 ringbearers. That's where the rude comments are coming in for me. Why can't people just keep quiet?

I am planning to have 6 or 7 bridesmaids. I am not sure if we are having a flowergirl. And, my FH has not decided how many groomsman he is having.

There is nothing wrong with having many bridesmaids especially if you have such a large family. I am having only 4, but don't have a large family.

I have 8 brides maids 8 groomsmen 4 flower girls! The bigger the better
The way i see it..is that there is a guarantee of 20 people plus us two at the wedding haha
