How many bridesmaids are too many?

How many bridesmaids are too many?

I can't narrow it down, but whenever I tell anyone I'm having 11, I get shock and awe!

How can I deal with these people?? It's not THAT many people!

dont worry what other people think...we have 9 on each side and they say the same to me. Who cares?!?!

You should include everyone that you want to have with you on your day!!

its alot, but who cares! obviously all these people are important to you! i have seen bridal parties with even more! just tell those people to hush!!!

seriously... i would just say:
'i am blessed to have so many wonderful friends and I could not imagine not including any of them on my special day!'

I think it’s awesome that you have 11 people that are close enough to you to be in your wedding. I would respond to the shocked people with “the more the merrier” and leave it at that. Or just try to ignore their comment if you can. HTH

to be honest i have 4, including my MOH & if i knew then (Dec. 08), what i know now, i would of only picked a MOH.

they drive me crazy on a regular basis.

i was in a bridal part last summer & i was 1 of 9. two of the girls drove the bride crazy, & 3 of them ending up being pregnant day of which was another bunch of issues.

but if you want 11 then go for it & more power to you.

Thats not too many... i just ignore it...

i wouldnt have as many as I do if i didnt have 3 sisters...

3 sisters
2 cousins
4 friends (that ive known my whole life)
2 Neices (JR BM and FG)

There's no 'too many'...just what you want.

Personally I'd go bat shizz crazy if I had to deal with 11 girls...I have 3 (including my MOH) and I am so happy with the small number because I know the girls I chose are solid and won't let me down.

i have 9 and there's no way i could narrow it down....

4 cousins
1 sister
1 bestfriend
3 FSILs! (they all want to be a part of their only brother's day -- so i didnt mind adding them in)

I get the opposite - I'm only have one MOH and one BM. People are like 'that's it?!?!?' Yup - that's it.

You do whatever you want to do and include whoever you want to include.

I am having 7 but I think that 11 is fine as long as they are all of your close friends. I think its not fair if you have one of your close friends and not the other. So I think you are making the right decision, so its fair for all of them.

i think how ever many u want its your day!! i am having ten and everytime i tell ppl they are like omg thats so much but it is all my close friends/fam and i couldnt leave anyone out!!

I believe there is no such thing as too many. Every wedding is unique, include who you want, don't worry about what others do!

I dont think there every is too many -- it is your day and you should have the people who matter most to you in your wedding party

I am having 6 - I added on at the last minute because she was a very special person to me and I could not imagine my wedding day with out her being a part of it.
