How many Bridesmaids are you having?

Just wondering.

Recently saw a post where a lot of past brides said they had wished they hadn't had such big bridal parties.

I'm having 5 (including MOH) and I NEVER thought I would have more than 2 or at the most 3. I love all my BMs (especially the ones who are reading this post!), but I know the more people you add the more complicated things can get.

Then again the more the merrier -- especially when it comes to the Bachelorette party!

What do you think?

i have a matron and a maid, 3 bridesmaids, 3 junior bridesmaids and 2 flower girls.

Only MOH, just didn't want to deal with 7 girls and all they differences expecially after i heard how bad some bridal parties are

This was my feeling too. Also, I am older, most of my friends have been married quite a while and are past the point where they want to be a bridesmaid, I think.

What's a mini bride?

i def wanted to have both of my little cousins,,but one will be 2 and the other 6

so I decided to have the 2 yr old be my FG and wear the 1st dress...and the 6 year old wear a dress similiar to mine.. 2nd pix..(she wont be wearing the jacket)..and will also wear a tiara with mini veil...I have seen it before and it looks adorable...

I'm having my MOH, 5 bridesmaids, and 2 FG. I couldn't have been happier with having these particular people around me and know that they will calm me down and I'll just be so happy to look over and see the people who love me the most standing there. (this is all except my future SIL, because from what I've heard her say, she's really messed up a lot of people's weddings by telling the photographer 'enough' telling some of the bm to do this or do that Ugh! I'm so nervous about that one, but I had to be nice.....)

I agree 100%. All of my friends are married with kids except one. My mother is deceased and I have no sisters so I have no help. My friends have no desire to buy/wear another bridesmaid's dress, they really wouldn't be able to help me (kids/schedules), it can lead to more drama and more expense. Whenever I talk to a woman who has been married for a while and had a large bridal party, unless all of the women were family, no one still stays in contact with all of them. People drift apart, move etc. MY MOH has been my BF for over 20 years now, since we were 14 so it's a pretty sure thing (even though we live in different states) tghat our friendship will last. Just her, that's it.

I have a maid, six bridesmaids, a junior bridesmaid and four flowergirls.

I know it is a lot! But, I am excited :)

ETA- I just wanted to add, that four of my bridesmaid are my sisters, one a cousin, and two are my best friends. If I had no sisters, I would have a much smaller party! It is more cost effective, and saves the stress of trying to get everyone together.....

I was originally going to have my best friend as a moh and that's it. Nothing big. Then my mom said it would be nice if your sister was in it somehow, so I had asked her to be my bm. My fh hadn't decided so I told him to make his bil to be his bm and I would ask his sis to be one of my bm and their son, my fh godson to be the ring bearer. so total:
1 moh 2bm
1 bm
1 rb
