How many bridesmaids is everyone having?

I am torn on this subject cause I feel I am going to end up with too many, but what is too many and does it really matter? So I figured I would see what everyone else is doing? I am going to either have 7 or 8?

I only had MOH & 1 BM .. it`s a personal choice

I wanted girls who are close to me now, and who I felt confident would be there for me through all the craziness during the planning, as well as be friends I could count on in the future.

I'm having a 'parade' of 9 - my friend is having 11 in June

And I feel lucky about it! At first I was worried, but then I realized how blessed I am to have so many people close to my heart. Good luck!

we are having 4 even couples 1 flowergirl & 1 ring bearer 1 maid of honor 1 matron of honor

We wanted to keep it small - so we are having 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. I decided to have people that I was considering for bridesmaids do other things at the wedding - readings at the church, toasts at the rehersal dinner and reception etc...
