How many bridesmaids is too much

If ceremony is at the reception hall how many in the bridal party is too many? In my head Ive got 5 including the MOH but Im double thinking its too many- esp. since I gave my sis alot of s h i t about having 4 girls ( Im way too alpha sometimes). All 5 of them are people who expect and want to be in the wedding.

I have 7, i know people who have had 10. it just gets more expensive for you the more girls you have. Its no one else problem.

WE're having 6: 4 was actually my ideal number but I didn't want to leave people out...

I don't think 5 is unreasonable, and I think you'll find that many girls on her are having more than you are. It's really up to you.

im not one to give advice on BP size... i have10...

if these people are really important to you then you should have them as BM's... if you could do without any of them then dont ask them... this is a personal choice

I definitely don't think 5 is too much. I have 6 but didn't want to leave anyone out...I also wanted to keep it to a minumum so that it's 'special'. It's up to you, really who you can and can't exclude.

I dont think 5 is too many. I have 8. If you are close with all of them and they are all specia lto you, don't worry about the amount. Jsut keep in mind that it gets more expensive for you when buying BM gifts etc.

Im having 6 BM but i think it really depends on what girls are a MUST...

I think transportation is your biggest consideration. I had 6 and 6 which was great until I had to fit them into a limo. 3 of the guys were really big guys so it was tight in the Escalade I got but the next size car would have been to big.

Don't forget too, you have to buy them each gifts.

But otherwise I don't think you can have to many. Traditionally girls had 12 bridesmaids.

By the way I think 6 was a good number. It looked nice in pics too, having 3 on each side of me.

it really depends too on if you are a budget b/c remember BP gifts can get pricey as well.

I had 7....I didnt think it was so crazy since I knew ppl who did 10-12.

i'm having 7.... and i really don't see too many incremental costs other than additional flowers for the bouquets and gifts for them... its really not that much more expensive

I have 8 and I was in a bridal party that had 10 - so its really up to you... Also keep in mind costs - as you buy them gifts and if you plan on helping pay for their dresses or hair/make up.

But I think 5 is a great number - it's not too many.

we're getting married at the rh and i have 5 including moh too i don't think it's too many at all!

i dont think it matters..i like the big group pictures.

what stinks is coordinating everyone for dresses and what not and the amount of $ you then have to spend on gifts and stuff

i have 4 including MOH. it was very stressful when we had to pick our dresses & try to get everyone in one place.

it really doesnt matter just pick people that u want to be around the day of , people made fun of me bc we had 10 each and it was the best choice ever i was so calm on my day bc i did what i wanted to do
