i only ordered 500-but i really just wanted them for cocktail hour....not throughout the night....if you want them throughout the night i would think you need like 3-4 per person but i really dont know?? haha

If you are using them for CH only, then 1 per guest is enough I think. If you want them at the bar throughout the night, take into condsideration the amount of 'get up themselves and get a drink' guests you'll have. I'd say if you think people will be getting up a lot, 3 per guest is cool...if not 2 per guest is more than enough.
