How many cocktail tables do/did you have?

And are you supplying the floral arrangements or is your caterer/facility?

Re: How many cocktail tables do you have?

I have the slightest idea lol

The hall is providing the decorations for that.. although, until I see them for myself, I'm not saying whether I am or not 100%.. however, I know that the cocktail room is extremely ornate so I probably wouldn't need anything other than votives on the table..

Re: How many cocktail tables do you have?

I think we had six which I originally thought were going to be way to few but with the way my room was set up (which is a little bit different than most cocktail hours Ive been to) it worked really well.

I had my florist do pillar candle with seeded eucalypus decorations for each table along with some of the flowers from the ceremony and votives. That was more than enough because our cocktail hour was in a library where the books were the main decor.

Sorry, i cant find any photos of the candle things.

Re: How many cocktail tables do you have?

I think we had about 20. My florist suppled a rose in a glass bowl with water in it.

Re: How many cocktail tables do/did you have?

What is the table/seats to person ratio at a cocktail hour?

Is there usually fewer tables and seats thus allowing guests to mingle. I have never taken note of that before.

Re: How many cocktail tables do/did you have?

I think there is seating inside for 70% of our guests. If it is nice out and we can use the veranda there will be enough seats for everyone.
My hall puts votive candles on each table. The room doesn't need anything more elaborate than that.

Re: How many cocktail tables do/did you have?

My hall was able to seat 200 at cocktail...

they provided us with wonderful hurricane vases filled with seashells and votive candles..to go with the seaside theme at Lands End

at a friends wedding...she had huge floating roses...

Re: How many cocktail tables do you have?

I actually did ask about that, and they said that they would provide lit votive holders, and I am adding some scattered petals only.

Centerpieces are $$ and I am not sure they would be appreciated - well I never notice them

Re: How many cocktail tables do/did you have?

My cocktail room table is not as big as the reception room. I figure a lot of people will be outside or standing by the bar (pretty big). I bought candles and candle holders from Michaels for like .50 total each. My hall only has salt and pepper shakers on the table and I wanted more than that. If you want candles check Michaels they are always having big sales on them
