How many days off from work are you taking prior to your big day?
I'm trying to figure out how many days off I should take before the wedding. I am assuming I'll need some time to run around doing last minute things.

I am getting married on a Sunday so I took Thursday & Friday before and then 2 weeks after.

I am taking off either two or three I am going to wait to see how stressed out I am as it gets closer.

I did 1 week before and 2 days afterwards. We actually needed all those days to complete all our DIY projects, get the license, sort through gifts, etc.

I'm taking 6 - Friday and then Monday through Friday. I feel lucky to be getting these though because I'm a teacher and really shouldn't ask for days off for my wedding.

My wedding is on a Saurday night, so I think I will take Wed, Thurs and Friday off.

As of right now I'm taking 2 days, Thurs and Fri...I may take the Wed off too, but it's a crazy time at work that time of year so we'll see. Then going back to work on Monday, yay! Possibly taking off the Thurs and Fri of the following week, if we ever get our acts together and decide if we're going to Key West or not for a minimoon. Not going on HM till at least July, possibly September

I am getting married on a Friday. I was going to just take Wednesday-Thursday, but I decided to take the whole week!

My wedding is a Saturday. I am taking Thursday and Friday before. Then the full week after the wedding for the honeymoon. Then taking 3 days the following week for relaxation before I go back to work on Thursday. So that is 2 full weeks off....ahhhh that just sounds like Blissss

My wedding is Saturday. I took Wed, Thur, and Friday off (but im gonna put in for tuesday also my boss is gonna loooooove that) then I took 9 days off after the wedding.

My wedding is a Sat. I was only going to take Thurs and Fri off before but one of the partners told me I had to take off Wed too because I'll have too much to do (this by a man....go figure).
I am then taking a ridiculous amount of time off after the wedding.....4 full weeks after!

I'm taking Wednesday and Thursday.. luckily Friday is a holiday so I don't have to take a vacation day!

Leaving work on a Thursday afternoon, coming back on the Tuesday. I'm saving my vacay days for when we go on HM in Jan.

my wedding is a thursday, my last working day is the wednesday prior to it. I have my State Test the thursday before, so i am gonna need some time 2 chill after that.

I am lucky enough to get thursdays and fridays off generally, so my last day next week is wednesday, and I'm off the entire following week for HM, going back to work on 6/15

I actually choose it the week of my wedding and another week for HM. So a total of two weeks. Def give yourself a few days for preparation. I didn't realize our wedding day was going to take so many days for preparation, we had to do our rehearsal dinner, shopping for gifts/accessories, etc. If you have last minute things to do, def take a few days.
