How Many DJ's Did You Visit/interview Before Selecting Yours?
I'm pretty sure on my choice of a DJ after going to only 3 showcases and looking at DJ's web sites, paper ads, etc...but FH suggests I still continue going to DJ showcases and the like to finally decide who to go with.
Thing is, I don't have time to drive all over LI to meet w// DJ's who may not have hte style or prices I want.
How many DJ's did you consider before finally making your choice? What was the 'yes this is the one!' factor that made you book your DJ?

Only looked at 2. The one we went to had the best showcase, great review and the best price.

We only met with one and we chose him. Couldn't be happier in our choice, either. He did a great job.

After doing alot of research we only met with one DJ. Music by Michael. He is classy and low key. You can submit your must play, play if possible and don't play lists online. He follows them exactly. I highly recommend him.

we looked at 3 and were sold on the third one. He just had that WOW factor we were looking for. He also sold his company without selling it if that makes any sense. he wasnt pushy, more confident and his whole presentation made us giddy. we had to have him.

we only met with 1 DJ. FH's family used him for a number of their functions and we knew we would just book him for the wedding. best part he came to us, we didn't have to go to him.

Just 1. I always knew who I wanted just had to convince FH..took him to a showcase at our RH & he was like they're awesome I want them!! so that sealed the deal

We looked at 4 and booked with the fourth. I would definitely suggest to meet with them before booking. I met with one while he was doing a gig (it was at an east end fundraiser) and when we set up an appointment (and he didn't show and had to talk to him over the phone about details) we decided to not go with him.

We only looked at one and booked him immediately, but then again I did alot of research before meeting with him.

We knew beforehand that we were going to pick our DJ. He DJ's in the club FH works in.

Just the one we booked. I'd seen them at two weddings and knew they were who I wanted.

We went to a few different showcases. We saw three different DJs. We went with After Hours.
Side note: when I called to make appointments with the other 2 they never called me back!!!
