how many dresses did you try on before you 'knew'

I thought dress shopping would be easy because i knew exactly what type of dress i wanted (trumpet cut, strapless, lace).

All the dresses I've tried are so beautiful, and they're all so-the-same-but-different.

How do I figure out which beautiful trumpet cut, strapless, lace dress is the best?????

i tried on about 6 i knew mine was the one so i went there with ever intention to get it and i saved it for last and i was right it was my gown

I just knew 3 times! lol I tried on about 30 dresses and over the course of about 5 different visits I feel in love with one dress then thought about it and decided to continue looking then the same thing happened again and then I found my dress! I had all the same feelings that I did with the other 2 but I put money down and stopped looking
They are all so pretty, its hard to just pick one!

I tried on about 15 dresses and I bought the very first dress I tried on. Everytime I had a dress on I kept thinking about the first one I tried. At that point I just know it was the one.

I tried on maybe like 20. It was the first dress i tried on at the second store. But i continued to keep on trying on dresses just to be sure.

i hear you. dress shopping is not as fun as i thought it would be. you will know when you've found 'the one' when all you do is compare every dress to that one. just keep trying them on. I went to 4 different places and had some bleh experiences but i did find my baby. probably tried on at least 30 different dresses.

This is how I picked mine. Everything kept going back to my dress.

Im cracking up reading your post bc I was looking at trumpet, strapless, lace dresses. I tried on 30-40 and then upped my budget, then tried on 30 more. I was very picky. What I ended up with was a lot more flattering on my body then a strapless trumpet. Try to be openminded and you may be pleasantly surprised! Good Luck.

A friend got hers at macys in manhasset it was demetrios. maybe thatll help...

haaaaaa, what style did you end up with??? or do you have lurkers?

I mean i've tried on a ton of beautiful dresses that i've thought 'ok, i could get married in this' just nothing that totally stood out above the rest!

I think I went to about 5 dress places...

I prob tried on about 30 dresses.

I did alot of research before hand so I went in there with pictures.

The one I bought I didn't even pick out myself. The girl in the bridal store did.

I tried on prob like 7 more, but I just wanted to put the first back on!
