For your invites. I know traditionally it's 2, but I've been to a few weddings recently and have only recieved one. So.......1 or 2 ladies?

Im going with the traditional 2. I always loved opening the first envelope and seeing another one, so I decided to go that route!

invites came with one so thats what im using.
i took the lazy way out. i let the invites decide for me.

We're doing 2, really because FH's family is HUGE and we have many families where we are only inviting the older children, so we really needed to be able to specify on the inner envelope who exactly is invited....

Wish I could do two, but my invites only came with one (something about them being square).
I like how with two, you can clarify on the inner envelope who's invited - put children's names and dates' names, etc. I don't want to address the outside envelope 'John Smith and Guest / 444 Mockingbird Lane' etc. because 'Guest' doesn't live there and that's weird to me. But eh well, what am I going to do?

One, I questioned it and she mentioned not all invitation companies do them and I have a lining so it makes up the difference of the second envelope or something.

Well I am doing pocketfolds & the pocketfold takes the place of the second envelop. I may put someone on the outside of the pocketfold specifiying who it is for maybe?
