How many girls are you having at your bach party??

I have a question...I anticipated having like 9 or 10 girls at my bach party. Now it looks like theres only going to be 7 total at the party including myself. I feel kinda down about it. I'm not inviting any cousins/family because I dont really feel close enough to invite them, and I could add on a few more friends but they arent close close friends so I dont know where to draw the line.
What should I do? How many people are you girls having for you bach party?

I really want it to just be about 5 of us. Me, my MOH, FSIL (who is my BM), a good friend from college, and one friend who can't make the wedding.

I'm going to invite about 10 people but will be happier if there are fewer of us. I just like being in a smaller group and think we'll have more fun this way.

Sounds like we're having the opposite problem!

I don't know honestly. I have 6 girls in my BP, but 3 of them are minors. I have 2 other friends that we could invite although I wasn't invited to one's bach party, and it's probably appropriate to invite FBIL's gf, even though she doesn't know any of the girls besides me and FSIL (one of the minors, so may not even be able to come?)

So that's like the max, 9 people who may all not come for all parts depending what we do. I could invite FH's third cousins but that would be a little weird I think since we've only met a few times, but they're so weird with family stuff that I don't know if I would be shunned if I didn't?

It just made me realize that peoples true colors come out during this whole wedding process. I almost want to change my party to something more simple and just have dinner and drinks or something. What are you girls doing for yours?

We had 6 at the spa and then only 4 for dinner including me. At first I was bummed that dinner was only a few of us, but while we were out I was having such a good time! It was MUCH easier to have a conversation with everyone this way. Don't fret about how many people are there - you will have a wonderful time regardless!

I will have 8-10 girls.
For my best friends B-party there were only four of us and we had an amazing time- Do not worry about how many people are there just have a good time.

thats what hurts the most.. one of them was my best friends too .. I was in her wedding last year and her wedding was like 5 days long and i got my hair and makup done pro for 3 days.. spent so much money and went to her bp too!

I think we may do dinner at lips and maybe go see a show like girls night the musical.. not sure really

OMG you sound exactly like me!! My friend got married a few years ago, I spent soo much money on her wedding including hair/make-up, went to absolutely everythng and the wedding was 4 hours away!! It just really hurts and I was just really surprised. I'm happy I'm not the only person dealing with this...not that I'm happy it happened to you too!

You both sound like me!!!! I decided that since my BP with the exception of my SIL have been M.I.A, I am going to V egas and I did this because I refuse to make their lives easy since they cant be there for me. I know I sound selfish, but I went above above above and beyond for them when they got married, and I cant even get them to return my phonecalls. There are 3 girls going to vegas and I am totally ok with that. My SIL (MOH) asked me if I wanted her to plan something here or in the city and I told her no because I dont even want them around..........wish I only had a MOH right about now.

I dont blame you for going to Vegas and just doing what you want to do. I'm so over some of my friends and the way they are acting it's disgusting. It just sux when you go above and beyond for some of your best friends and they dont do the same for you!! My sister(MOH) said its been hell trying to get my bridesmaids to return emails and a few are even refusing to pay for the shower!!!
