How Many Guests?

I finally got the invitations out a few weeks ago, and the replies are coming back verrry slowly... so annoying!!

Anyways, I was wondering how many guests you were having.
I will be having between 50 - 75.

This will leave me enough money to pay off my $1500 wedding gown...

I WISH mine was that low! I really wanted a small intimate wedding on a beach and I ended up having a 300 guest list in a huge ballroom!!!!! See, guys get what they want too!!!!

Our guest list is about 160. Our room only holds 150, so I hope not everyone comes!! I know that won't happen anyway!!

Same here! I wanted a very small intimate wedding on the beach while FH wanted a huge wedding. We are hoping for somewhere around 120 guests max.

We initially thought like 75 and now its looking like closer to 120-140 invites which is big for what we were planning. We wanted really small and should have thought about it much better before sending out of STDs. Who knows, over half our guests are OOT so we're expecting quite a few Nos. Sorry to sound so blah about it.... FH invited (well FMIl in law gave us names) ppl he hasnt seen or talked to in like 10 yrs.

That is so funny!!! When our friends ask us about how we feel about the big wedding, I make sure I tell them ALL that HE wanted the big wedding.......all of his friends told him that he has lost his MAN card!!!!!!!

Do you have a limit for your RH?? What will happen if you go over the limit????

We are only inviting 175 and thats it. We had to cut or list. We could have easily invited 250 to 300

I ahve more people NOT coming then coming...I'm pretty disappointed!!!!

Ohhhhh, don't be sad. I mean, I know it's easier said than done, but you will still have a wonderful time!!!!!

Our friends got married in September and they invited 350 guests and only 90 came.......they were so disappointed, but in all reality, it was perfect becuase it was more intimate and they had time to visit will EVERYONE!!!!!

I believe we are inviting (as of now) around 190-200. Our minimum is 165, but we haven't even sent out invites yet and are already getting lots of no's!!!
