I have 32 with 'and guest' although some of them probably won't even bring a guest.
Anyone 18+ will be invited with a guest.. We're doing that because honestly...its not that many people we know who arent in serious relationships/married/engaged...so in the end maybe about 25-30 guests?

we pick and chose who we are inviting with a guest. the people that are single will not be invited with guests. we explained to a lot of fhs friends to take eachotheras dates lool to our wedding cuz we simply cant fit that many ppl in our room. they all understood. i think women are the ones that cause alll the problems with this issue. men are ok with not bringing a date.

If I dont know them they are not coming. We dont want to just invite people to invite them. If they arent dating seriously there is no reason they have to be at my wedding. I know it probably sounds rude, but i know some girls that would just bring there girl friends to have fun, no thanks.
Im so glad many of you are thinking the same way! I was afraid I'd look cheap not inviting everyone with guests but I just think its such a waste when people will be scrambling to find a date that you didnt want there in the first place!
Not many at all. I am only inviting someone with a 'guest' if they are older. I am not inviting any of my 20-something year old friends with guests if they're not in a relationship.
The only people invited with a guest are people in serious relationships or people who do not know anyone at the wedding besides me. I would love to invite everyone with a guest but I cant afford it and I'm not going to put myself in debt for a bunch of people who dont even know me and probably will never see me again.

FH and I said that anyone who is not in a serious relationship or married isn't getting a +1, we just can't do it. It would end up being way too many people and end up costing a fortune. People have to understand that every person invited is more money that has to be paid.
