how many guests are u having and how many photogs are u having?
when we booked we thought we would only have around 130 guests then the list grew to 260. so we'll probably end up with around 200 guests. our photog recommends us booking a 2nd photog when theres more than 150 guests. i'm just curious to see what u ladies are doing. TIA!!

We invited 160 and we are shooting for 100-115 and we hired 2 photographers.

We had 100 people & 2 photographers. We had two because we wanted a photojournalist plus we didn't have a videographer.

We invited about 178 guests and we are in the process of getting RSVP's. We have one photographer with assistant and one videographer. I think that we are going to be fine with that.

To me, having 2 photographers has nothing to do with how many guests you are having. Yes, you want some candids and the obligatory family / close friends shots -- but other than that, the pics are going to be of you and your husband. You likely don't want 100s of proofs of random wedding guests, many of whom will likely be someone's date (and the photographer won't know this). Even with the family and friends shots, you and/or your FH will need to be in those, and you can't be in two places at the same time.
I'm having 140-150 guests (uh, we hope!), and we're having 2 photographers. I mainly wanted one b/c I wanted one photographer with FH and one with me getting ready. I also wanted to make the family and BP pictures go more quickly and wanted multiple angles during the ceremony. I also have a very creative, photojournalistic-style photographer and the second photographer is more traditional. This way, we can get in all of our posed shots and let the main photographer be even more creative.
If you're happy with one photographer, I don't think I'd add a second just because you now have more guests... unless you happen to want tons of shots of the guests - ?

we are inviting 250 (hoping 180-200 yeses) having 2 photographers and also has nothing to do with the amount of guests - we have one formal and one photojournalist although they both can do both

we had about 110 guests, and hired 1 photographer, but she brought an asst. (we didn't even know she'd have one!) who was also shooting as well...so in the end we kind of had 2 photographers.

we're inviting about 250 guests, we anticipate 170... having 2 photographers... only b/c i REALLY want more photojournalistic photos

We are having 67-70 (te number keeps on changing and it's 4 days before the wedding) and 2 photographers
I initially booked one, but then he asked if his FW, who is also a photographer can come and shoot for free, so I agreed without even thinking twice!!!

We had 280 people, and had 2 photogs and one assistant. One was traditional, the other photojournalistic. i think no matter how many people i had i would have wanted 2, for the different types of pictures they take.
