I met a girl that is having 500 guests and was floored. No way could I plan/ afford that huge of a number...
I am inviting 200 but am expecting 150-175 ( FH's fam has a family reunion the same weekend as our wedding and word is many of his fam will not attend)

I invited 300... when all is said and done I will be inviting 310... but I am guessing about 250-275 come. The way its working is that I got 105 yes's right now and 2 No's... so we shalll see!

we guaranteed 150. Right now the guest list is at 227 and I want to shoot myself! I had to explain to FH that just because he said hello to someone once doesn't mean that they have to be invited to the wedding.

Right now we have 246 on the list. We are hoping for about 200. But I have a feeling it's going to be higher.

We had a 75 min and we invited 100 (some of those were elderly relatives though that needed to be invited but we knew were obviously not coming). We fell under, wound up with 66 including us. A lot of people said no that we didn't anticipate. A death in one family took out 3 people right there. A friend's wife was due only a few days after the wedding and they obviously couldn't come. Then we had a few friends who had verbally indicated they were coming months before and then sent in a 'no' RSVP.

My minimum is 150 and I am hoping to keep it as close to that as possible... We invited 200 and so far we have 30 yes and 1 no... but we are aware of some people that we know are not coming but sent the courtesy invite anyway.

We have about 172 on the list, but that includes B list people who probably will not be invited after all, and a lot of OOT and elderly who will not come. Our minimum is 125, and I actually will be shocked if we meet it.

I really only wanted about 50.
Then we thought about eloping and getting married by Elvis in Vegas.
Then we thought about getting married by a JOP and having a party. Then by the time we added up how much it would cost for a party we decided to find a place on the beach where we could have the ceremony and reception. We found a beautiful place but the minimum is 100...so we are inviting 115 and hoping that no more than 100 will come!
