Girls how many places did you look at? FH and I went to 2 places and love 1 of them. I want to see a few others but FH will go but does not really want to. I love the other place and the price I just feel I am suppose to look at more. He a D.J. so he been to a billion places and feels the other places either I will not like in person or is out of budget. Advice please!! Thanks!!!

FH and I found a place and loved it. We had 1 more appt. and my fmil insisted we go see the last place.I don't always see eye 2 eye w/fmil, but thank god we took her advice because the last place was perfect. Check all your options.

I looked at probably over 10 places, but i had the summer off so I went by myself then took FH to the ones that I liked cause he didnt want to look at 100 RHs! We ended up going to Fox Hollow together and both loved it so it worked out well

If the price is right and you both love it, BOOK IT!!!
We saw 5 reception halls - and the last one we saw we loved so we cancelled all other appointments!

we looked at 6. I did most of my research online though. We wanted a place that would cater to one wedding at a time. When I called I would ask the pricing over the phone or in emails to just save ourselves the trip without falling in love & then being let down. There was one that said just come in & we'll discuss when we got there we took the tour around & started really to like it, then we sat in the office I think my face dropped when he told us the prices lol (of course they were over our budget) With our place it was the 2nd one we saw & loved it but looked at a few more just to make sure!

I guess I knew what I was looking for and Leonard's was it, so my search ended there. There's no really right or wrong number. As long as you can afford it and they have what you want, I say go for it. But having a few other halls for comparison sake doesn't hurt either.

We ended up looking at 13...our RH we saw 3rd and loved it but was over our budget...we kept looking and kept comparing every other place to WM..we eventually just went back and negotiated and ended up booking on the spot...I wanted to be sure I saw a bunch on places before I made a decision

We looked at 4 over the course of 2 weekends.
Our reception hall was the last one we looked at and after that. we just knew.
And if I wanted to look further, FH told me he wasn't coming lol
