How many halls did you go see?

I am totally new to the wedding planning...we looked at our first venue last night and have a bunch of appointments for other places and it is completely overwhelming already
How many halls did you girls look at before you decided on yours?

We saw a total of 7 venues. We saw 4 venues, waited a week, saw 3 more venues, then revisited our favorite from the prior week and decided to negotiate the price & book it.

I've been to 16 now!!! I have loved a bunch of them but I don't want to rush into making a decision before seeing all of my options so I know I'm making the right decision. However I'll admit when you go look at sooo many it gets very confusing. Because there will be something that you love about a handful of them and you keep trying to find the place that has it all combined when its just not possible. I still have 5 more I want to see before I make my final decision. My FH has gone to everyone with me too, he is a saint!! hahaha

I definitely suggest getting a ball park price range before heading inside otherwise you can fall in love with something that you can never have :(

FH and I looked at 6 halls. I don't think I could have looked at anymore, because I was getting overwhelmed. From the 6, we narrowed it down to 2 and it was easy decision from there. The hall we picked happened to be the last one we saw.
