I got engaged a few weeks ago. So far we looked at one hall that I LOVED. They had our date available so that made me love it even more. Should we keep looking just to see what else is out there or book it??
I want to look around but I also want to book my date.

Westbury Manor, Vanderbuilt Mansion, Garden City Hotel, The Metropolitan, The Riviera and The Woodlands!!!!

I would look around a little more, but if you love it and nothing else gives you that feeling, go back and book!!!!!
The second place we fell in love with and thought 'this is it!' I wanted to make sure we didn't make too quick of a decision so we went to a few other places, but wound up booking with #2.
We looked at 4 in total. A lot were canceled because it was that snowstorm weekend!! grrr

3--Westbury Manor, Venetian and finally Fox Hollow. I knew Fox Hollow was the right one as soon as we walked in.

about a dozen and we ended up booking the first place we looked at.

Keep looking just to get rid of any possible doubts. Get some quotes and DO negotiate... with everyone.... seem indifferent and they will throw in more or follow up with a call later and say... oh we can do better on the price. Yes, they can.
I screened approx 17 places with friends before bringing in FH to the ones I knew we would both like and the others placed on a short list.
