before you found 'the one.' DH and I are about to begin the process and I'm just trying to get a really rough idea of what to expect.

An easy 75-100 if not more. I went with my cousin a R/E twice a week every week for like 8 hours a day for 2 mths and then on the days I wasnt with her DH and I went to open houses and open house and more open houses. In the end we found two houses on the same day that we like and it was a matter or location. We put 2 offers in that fell threw for different reasons and this was the 3rd offer that we got.

about 20 houses, but we did a lot of research online before we went to see them. mlsli.com saved tons of time going into houses we weren't interested in.
