Hey ladies...I am starting to freak a little bit. My church is at 4:00 (one hour long ceremony) and my cocktail hr starts at 7:00. I'm thinking I am going to be pressed for time. How many hrs do you think you need for pics?

It depends where you are taking to pics, to account for travel time, and how many you want to take.
How long will it take to get from the church to the picture taking place, then to the recep?

My church is at 2 p.m. (full hour) and pre-cocktail hour starts at 5:30 with cocktail hour starting at 6 p.m. I figure by the time we leave church, it should be about 3:30 - 3:45 and it is about a 40 minute ride to the Manor East from my church (if there is no traffic). So I figuring that we will get to the ME about 4:30 - 4:45.

We also have a 2pm church start, and 6 CH start. However, our ceremony is taking place in Manhattan. It should last til 2:45 (3pm the latest). Then we'll head to a park near Great Neck for pics... should arrive by 4pm. Take pics for an hour, then get to Leonard's @ 5pm, and take more pics there... for about two hours. We're not being presented until after CH. I think we over-estimated our time, but I'd rather be safe than sorry... plus, it'd be nice to take a moment to breathe and take our time.

I think that sounds about right, you have to have some time just for yourself to relax in between everything... we didnt book our church yet but this is exactly what I had in mind

So is mine! And, I have a 40 minute commute in between. From the church to the reception hall. I am sure we will be fine!

I think that is the perfect time in between. You won't be rushed.
