I always wanted 4 or 5 b/c I came from such a small family that lost touch over the years and is continuing to dwindle down. I always wanted a bigger family, but FH said no way to 5! LOL...and i'm probably crazy when you think about it! FH wants 2, maybe 3 if we can afford/handle it!

We have a few years to worry about that though!
I am the same way. We want 3 maybe 4. I came from 3 and he's one of 2 but has lots of cousins and both his parents are 1 of 6 so he has a big family and i don't have anyone, just my brother and sister. So we want our kids to have a big family also!

i think i want 2 or 3 more.. i already have 1 daughter.. she's 4yrs old. i want at least 1 more girl and at least 1 boy..

remember steve and I are 12 years apart....i dont want him to be an old dad thatd too old to play with his kids

I used to say 2 - but now I've realized that I want a big family. I'd like 4

Butttttttt I refuse to have 4 kids if I cannot adequately provide for all of them. I want to make sure my kids don't need/want for anything.

I mean, I don't want to spoil them...but I also don't want to have to be hungry or not have clothes, etc.

I look at some families and can't understand why they have so many children that they cannot provide health care, food, and shelter for...

hmmm...I think at most two or three. preferably two. i come from a large family of six children and tho my family was always able to provide for me i believe there is a difficult balance for mom's & dad's to achieve when having to split their attention equally between so many people or else you might wind up with things like resentment or the feeling that someone might be getting slighted among others, it's odd i know but i won't have more then i can emotionally handle.

i will only go thru birht twice ... so i want 2 kids .. hopefully druing one of my pregnancys i will have twins ... ifi have twins i would sitll have another one

I only want 1...but its not fair to the only child, so I think we decided on 2....however, if by 33, we have not had our second child yet, we will have no more. 33 is actually our cut off age for having children....

I want 2. Is it weird to say that I want twins in the first shot to get the whole giving birth thing over with? Twins run in FH's family so I don't think its really a long shot lol

I only promised FH 1 but I changed my mind b/c he realllllly wants a boy and I have to give him 2 tries but also because (no offense) all my only child friends are crazy...haha...so he'll get two but I may stop at one if the first is a boy.

Since I come from a large family (7 kids, 3 girls and 4 boys) I want a small family. I mean I see how hard it was/is for my mom. Having 7 kids isnt easy haha

And I mean of course we never needed/wanted for anything and I am so blessed to have a wonderful dad who can support our family and we have nice things, and everything. But I dont think that is for me

I want 2-3. 3 is the most for me. I def want a boy and a girl though.

So, we went to PreCana this weekend and they give us this booklet on natural family planning. Apparantly you take your temperature, blah blah blah and it tells you when you're ovulating, estimates where the egg is located, etc. Anyhow, the point of it is that depending on where the egg is located you can better your chance of having a girl/boy - if the egg is lower a boy, if its higher a girl b/c boy sperm swim faster but girls can swim longer. Anyhow, the point is that now FH thinks that we can 'make a left handed pitcher for the Yankees.' A$$.

i have no idea how many..maybe 5 is nice....


all of my friends have either 4 or 5 kids. I think the trend is toward bigger families now. I have one son, I would like one more child.

probably 2 kids - maybe 3 if i dont get a girl the
first 2 times around - but i dont know about raising 3 boys! i guess it all depends but FH said he does not want to have more than 2 and that is okay with me as well......i guess whatever happens - happens!
