How many May 05 brides...

Even fun things cause me stress. My shower was Saturday and, later, I was mad at myself for not making time that day to print menu cards. How can I possibly write shower TYs with so much else to do???

I think I'm going to start having to take days off from work.

... And to add to all this, I just found out my mother sent a shower invitation - if you can call it that!!! Intead of the invitation and direction card, she put Registry Info and LIRR Train schedule!!!!!!

me me me!!!! I thought I was going to be one of those brides with no glitches in the bridal party.... the drama is starting NOW... 3 days before my shower!! I want to scream too!!

i don't even want to think about how much stuff i have left to do. My apartment looks like a bomb exploded because of the amoutn of wedding crap laying around. I'm sure I'm forgettting a ton of stuff to do.

My job has been so busy that I have not been able to do much planning in the past two weeks, which is adding to my stress level. I would feel a lot better if I could cross off some To Dos!

I know how you feel! I still haven't sent out the invitation yet, and I don't even have a full list yet. I am so stressed out with all the details that need attending to!

My florist noticed the pews in the church have no sides, so I cant have pew flowers. It sounds dumb, but I really wanted them. ANd I have to figure out how to decorate a very bare church.

And I got reamed out at work for not completing things that should have been done a week ago, on top of a growing work load.

I need a day off!!!

My weekends are booked for the next 3 weeks

See, when things like this happen you just have to laugh, right? Or maybe ...who knows. I know this wedding is making me physically ill, sad, happy, lazy, anxious... I can go on and on!

I can't focus on anything for more than 10 seconds at a time. In the last half hour, I tried to:
- print cards to go with the disposable cameras;
- cut an inch off a candle (didn't work; don't try it);
- reorganize the cabinet that holds the knife used for cutting the candle;
- dug out the w-2 I neglected to send to NY state along with my tax return;
- threw out a toaster and some silly extra coffee mugs.

I should have spent that time on the phone trying to gather readers or a florist!
