We were asked to do it within 6 mos. of the wedding date, but there was one at my parish in November so we asked the priest if that was okay. He said that was fine. We booked it in October for the November class.

my priest said to do it about 6-7 months before the wedding....he wanted us to do it closer to the wedding so that what would learned from pre-cana would still be in on minds when we got married we are going next weekend

We were told it had to be within 6 months of getting married so we registered in November for tonight and tomorrow

Whenever you want. I would do it sooner then later.

ITA - our priest didn't really care when we did it, as long as we did it. So - we did ours 3 weeks ago which was about 4.5 months before the wedding

i think it depends on what your priest wants.
our church materials said within 6 months of our wedding date. but our priest wanted it done asap. so we did our 8 months beforehand. he also wanted all mine and FH's documentation and letters submitted earlier (not within 6 months as the paperwork said)

I think technically it's supposed to be within 6 months but our priest said he'll accept it whenever and suggested doing it sooner so that we'd have time to work on any issues brought up in Pre-Cana and bcause the classes do fill up
