This is one of my biggest worries. We are trying to be cost efficient and I already have cut 50 people off the list and it is hard to keep cutting. I almost hope we have some (ok a few more than that) no's so we can be closer to our minimum. I want to have to go to the B list!

Re: how many no's
I think the lower the number of invites, the less percentage of 'no's' you will receive. I am having a small wedding, I invited 83....hoping for 50-60 guests (going by the '20% will respond 'no' rule')...... I have not gotten any 'no' responses as of yet. It is 3 weeks to the RSVP date, so I will keep you posted. I think you should definitely be prepared to expect all the guest you invite!

Re: how many no's
I invited 212 guest
I had 143 yes
I had 69 no's (but 30 were oot guest that we knew would not come.)(another 10 we knew wouldn't come but invited out of courtesy)
I am very happy with our numbers. less money. I had figured 175 would say yes but 143 is better

Re: how many no's
I invited 272 and I had 145 guest the day of!!! Granted, about 40 of the guests were OOTO but even taking that into account a huge percent of people still said no.
