Woo-hoo!! I know the first week weight loss is always a lot b/c of water weight, but I'm hoping this is the motivation that I need to stick with it.

Hi ladies!!!! Hope everyone had a good weekend!!! I was good yesterday on WW, but today - a complete disaster. Ending up working, so we ordered in Italian - stuffed shells - 12 pts for 2, I had 3 Then so frustrated by work, came home and ate an ENTIRE chunky bar (king-size no less) - that was 16pts. Given that my range is 18-23, I would say I went a tad bit over Hoping to get back on the wagon tomorrow - stopped at the supermarket and stocked up on some healty snacks for work.
How are you guys doing??

I hear ya! I went to my dad's today and couldn't resist his baked ziti!!! I just had two cookies too! I'm so mad because i was doing so well. Well there is always tomorrow....just remember that Karen! You'll be fine tommorrow.

Good Morning all the Oct brides! How was everyone's weekend? Karen I'm happy you sent in your check & Congrats on losing weight. That's really wonderful.
We are in the middle of making or Save the Date cards. Hopefully they will get sent out this weekend.
I have to start shoe shopping and call the DJ's to set up appointments. Ohh also need to finalize the BM dresses. I think I know which one's I want from Jim Hjlem YAY!
I'm sooo looking forward to Friday it's going to be FUN FUN FUN!

Good morning all! My weekend was okay... Did pretty good on WW. I'm a little nervous about getting weighed because my gut seems fatter than ever! I'm HOPING I am imaging things!

We are going to check out Get in Tune. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about them & they are a prefered vendor!!
Glad to hear you are doing well on WW. Some days you just feel more bloated then others. Try and drink lots of water that helps sometimes !! :)

My friend is using Get In Tune for her July wedding and couldn't be more excited. Glen is the owner and apparantly that's the one you want to do your wedding too, I'm not sure if there are others, but Glen is the man! That's what I hear! Good luck with that!
I need to get on a roll! Now we are concerned about where to live. Both of us still live at home. We're in the middle of debating whether we want a house or apt.... I think we're going house hunting come Feb.
What are you guys doing for living arrangements?

Yep! that's def the color & the dress my sisters (both MOH) are wearing. i might pick out a different style but same color for the other girls. FI sister is one on the BM and she has very large breasts & I don't want her to be uncomfortable in this one. What dress did you pick? do you have pics??
YAY! i keep hearing great things about Get in Tune. I have to call them this week.
Right now we live together in an apartment. We really want to buy a house but the prices are outrageous. So we are hoping to get a decent amount back from the wedding & save a bit longer then purchase hopefully not longer then a yr.

Wow..this got lost. How is everyone today? I'm soo excited about tomorrow. It's going to be fun. I hope we all win so usefull prizes.
We made an appointment with Glen at Get in Tune for Monday. I have been working with the travel agent for the HM to Hawaii. FH dad is going to give us miles to fly there so we are very happy about that.
Next up is finialize the BM dresses & find shoes! Any suggestions? I need high ones since I'm 5'0 & FH is 6'1

HI! I'm sorry I didn't see your post from the other day I do have a pic, BUT.... I think it's gone, let's see.... Yes I deleted it from my computer at work. So you made an appointment with GIT, that's great! I think you will like them!
As for shoes, I think you should try Sandy's shoes on Sunrise Hwy. I think it's Massapequa. Of course if that is convenient for you!
I have nothing else going on, just trying to figure out where we actually want to go for HM and then we'll make an appt. with a travel agent.

I found my shoes at MJM in east meadow about two weeks ago. They are Kenneth cole and were only $16.99! I love them!! I was so afraid they wouldn't match my dress because I have natural white ( it's in between white and ivory) but we went and looked yesterday at my dress and it matches!!!
MJM had 3 other styles of kenneth cole wedding shoes there and they were all 16.99. DSW had nothing at all and the bridal shoe place next to it wanted $90 for these ugly shoes (Um, no thanks!). Just wanted to let you guys know.
We started Pre-cana this week and have really nice leaders. I also just booked a Cancun vacation with my girlfriends for 4 nights!!! YIPEE!! It's my OH NO I'm turning 30 and married vacation!! We are going in April the weekend before my birthday. I thought Anthony was going to kill me when he found out how much money I spent . So you might hear me panicking about money in the coming months!!
Lauren- how was weight watchers? Did you try the cookie dough bar and the graham one? My leader was giving samples. I liked the cookie one.
Hope all is well with all the other Oct. brides. Can't wait to meet you all!

I LOVE Jim Hjelm's dresses!! The BM's i posted above are from him! The spring line just came out & there are some I like there too. Did you get your dress yet?
Yes, I forgot we are working on STD's too. I'm going to try and get them out next week. Since Danfords is also a Inn we are going to send out the hotel info with the STD's (that always sounds gross LOL).
We def have to find all the Oct Brides at the GTG tomorrow. I'm soo excited!
PS..OCT bride my Bday is in April too! What date is yours? I'm the 6th :)

Hi again! Okay, here is my BMs gowns. However, the color is wrong - I will be using Wine for the BMs and my MOH will be in same dress but in Champagne.
OCT1203 - WW is okay, I lost 2.8lbs my first week. I haven't tried any of the bars yet! I will definately have to stock up on them and I really should stick around for the meetings! I'm an a$$ sometimes!
Anyway, WOW Kenneth Cole for $16.99, what a bargain shopper you are! I also want to recommend Sandy's shoes in Seaford or maybe Massapequa on Sunrise, they have nice shoes there too!

Can anyone tell me the price they spent on their dj and who it was? This is the last thing we have to do and we have been dragging our feet. We only have seen Skylight Express (or something like that) and we are suppose to go to a showcase at jerricho terrace on wed to see them perform. They seemed to want alot of money(1800 with the lights and cocktail). maybe it's just me. Is that a good price?
