How many of you...

How many of you met your FH online?

We met through match.com a few years ago (after both meeting many losers previously and we were both ready to give up with the 'online thing'..) and just curious how many of you met online as well..?

Also, anyone make negative comments about it? My FH's parents totally love me, but they lie to people about how we met when asked.. i don't know why..

we didn't meet online but my MOH is meeting a guy tonight that she met on match.com i guess good things can happen!!

We met on match. His family doesnt know, my family doesn't care. lol, he lies to people. If someone asks us how we met, he like kicks me under the table and says 'at a bar'

We met on myspace. Thinking of inviting Tom to the wedding lol. He actually sent me a message but I never responded. Then a month later I went through my old mail and was bored so I just requested him as a friend and never said anything to him. So then he sent me a message telling me how confusing i am that i never responmded to his email and then a month later i requested him as a freind and then never sent him a comment or wrote anytthing to him. it made me smile bc he was right and he also wished me a happy birthday. Thought i owed him an email then.... lol. It was the best decision I ever made!

I met FH on myspace. I had come home from the hospital (I was sick and there for 3 days) and I came back and had a friend request and message from him. And the rest is history...

We didn't technically meet online---but he was one of my brokers and worked in a different building--so we talked online all day long--that is how we got to know each other.

I met FH on EHarmony. We met and were engaged 6 months later.

my best friend met her husband online who happend to be friends with my FH (that is how we met a few years after they were dating) it is so common to meet people online now

We met online, through a David Bowie fansite :P I used to lie and said we met at a David Bowie concert, but lately, I just tell the truth because I don’t think it’s that big of a deal. My mom initially wasn’t happy and she made him fax her his passport to prove he wasn’t some old dude!

we met online through aol chat. my parents were so skeptical about him because of that but obviously he didnt turn out to be a psycho.

We met in an AOL chatroom in 2001. We talked for months before meeting in person. I miss our AOL days..we use to spend like hours upon hours straight every nite just talking to eachother Awww..memories!!
