just out of curiosity...how many of u gusy are already settled in with ur FH? Just curious because me and FH live together and when people keep asking me what i am putting on the registry I really have no idea what to put since we sort of already have everything....we are looking for a house probably closer to the wedding so this way we sort of have an idea of how much money we can lay down..being that we are paying for the wedding ourselves, we really cant do both right now.....so how are you guys doing it??

I will stay with my mom for another 6 months since she lost her job and my sister is leaving to mexico to study abroad, and my mom will not be able to pay for everything..... i just need to find bigger apartment..... i know it ***** but my parents are divorce and we dont have any family here and i cant just leave her like that,,,,,

Put all new stuff!!! bedding, small appliances silverware, and any other fun stuff you can think of! Luggage is a good one too

I dont think i will have bridal shower....
but im making a registry in BBB basicly for everything: towels,sheets, etc... because you can get 10% off on everything if its not bought.

well i have lived on my own for years now... so i have a lot of stuff also. on my registry i tried to stick to new stuff that i really need and want... like a good set of pots, REALLY nice sheets and towels, some appliances and utensils.
even though i have stuff, i never spent a lot of money because i knew i'd get married someday and get all new nice stuff. i have good everyday dishes already, so even though FH put a set on I took them off b/c 1. they are pricey and 2. i'd rather get new towels!

yeah i know....its just hard to deal with everything....because i want to start a new life alone... but the good thing is that my mom minds her own business... i just need to get 3bd apartment in queens....

yup thats what we are doing...most of our stuff is old hand me downs or just cheap stuff we bought bc we needed it...now we are able to get all new and nicer things

yeah thats what im putting i put a ton of bedding and valances and stuff like that, maybe some new pots i cant wait to toss these lol, i already got my china settings for 12 from my mom and gram,but i feel silly putting on just towels and stuff lol
