So girls are you taking your FH surname? Just curious as a friend of mine getting married next month just told me shes keeping her surname!! I was shocked, she said it was because she didn't like her FHs!!!!!!! OMG!!!!

I am just adding it to mine... I am going to be like nicole richies baby with 4 names, whatever ...i cant completley part with my last name but i want to share a family name so i am just going to put my middle name as my maiden name

I am taking his last name... I cannot wiat to be Mrs. Kline! I love my italian last name BUT its difficult to pronounce and Kline is so easy!

I joked once about saying I was thinking of hypenating it and he said he wouldnt marry me!! I was totally kidding but I just like to rile him up sometimes.....
I like my last name because of its nationality being the country my father came from...BUT... I took my fathers name and therefore...how could I not take my husbands?

I am taking his name. Even though I tend to be a bit of a feminist on a lot of issues, I want my kids to the have the same last name as both my husband and I.

I am def taking FH's surname. He would kill me if I chose not to! My initials will still be the same which is cool. Even though his last name is very common, I still couldn't imagine not having the same last name as him!

I'm taking FH's last name. I love my last name, but I would never hyphenate.
A word of advice: I work in a pharmacy and women with hyphenated names tend to 'forget' which name they fill prescriptions, or change there mind about which name they are saying that day.....or they never hyphenated on the insurance plan.... or their 2 last names are soooo long that they don't fit with their first name on the label and it causes much confusion. If you are going to hyphenate...make sure you are clear and consistent when you have to give your last name!

I am taking FH's name... i would hyphenate but our names are similar except for two letter.
G**man to Gelman.... can't hyphenate... lol....
I wish he would take my name... I've tried but he's not having it.. lol

I'm taking his name. Going from one Italian name to another. When My sister got married last year she didn't take his name and he didn't have a problem with it. Although, she wouldn't have married a man who would!!
