doing the bo-k/garter toss??? We decided not to, we don't have a lot of single people attending the wedding and it gives us a few more minutes to party I am curious to see howmany people don't do it

we're skipping it i always ran to the bathroom when they did it at weddigs when i went so i figured iw oudln't put anyone else through hiding out ether..but i thinnk it depends on your crowd - if the love it usually - then go for it!

If you decide not to do the toss, what is everyone doing instead? we are not going to have many single people at our wedding either..

You don't have to do anything, but a lot of girls do the anniversary dance

The only single people are going to be cousins of mine - that would be a bit incestous if we did the garter and bo'k toss. Besides I would reather do the anniversary dance..

We are not doing it. We are having each parent song played, have them dance to it and giving each mom a boo-k and each dad a garter.

We've always hated this 'tradition' so we're skipping it. Not sure if we're doing anything in its place.

We're doing the anniversay dance also. FH will take garter off of me then we will have all married couples come to the dance floor. The DJ will ask everyone married less than a year to leave the dancefloor, everyone married less than 3 years to leave, etc. etc. until we get to the oldest married couple. She will get my BoK and he will get the garter and then he will put the garter on his wife!!
