It's a month before my wedding and I'm still making revisions to my menu....I'm at the point where I just don't care anymore....we only have a choice of 2 entrees, so I don't know how important it is to include these at the tables. We are having white centerpieces with a shimmering organza overlay, and I have been having a hard time designing the menus to make them look good with the rest of the table.
I know menus are a nice touch, but is it ok to just skip them at this point??

Make your hall have a menu list already.
I went to many wedding that did not have them. Don't sweat it if you don't have it.
It's a nice touch but nobody is going to WOW you for making them. They probably won't even know you did it.

I thought they were unnecessary. It didnt take very long for the waitstaff to ask people what they wanted to eat.

with two entree choices - I would skip the menu's all together...heck, I'd skip them at three.

I would skip it if you run out of time. The staff will tell your guests. It's not a problem!

I think they are a nice touch. Fh and i luv looking at the food choices we are getting, and it may help people decide what they are eating... For example, if someone does not like tomatoes, they can ask for their salad to be without tomatoes...
but if you run out of time no big deal!

I am doing them because my RH has 7 choices for dinner and I dont want the waitstaff to have to repeat the choices over and over- I thought it would make it easier on the guest and waitstaff- and take less time and more time for dancing!

I'm not doing them. It's an extra expense and it only takes a minute for the waiters to tell ppl what the choices are.

Don't stress... I'd skip it b/c of 2 entree choices..
Spend your time on something else... you'll be fine without the menu.

I'm not doing menus. Mainly because I'm doing a buffet. However, my advice is just put up a big menu board. Which doesn't have to be very fansy and it can be one of those easer boards with the markers. Your hall may have one. And if your hall does have menus, take them. They'll proberly be very plain. Most like white. So don't stress out. You could just have a small table card telling the guest the two entres Chicken or Beef. Thats all you really need to know.
