Can you share your pics? Also, can you give me a rouch idea of what the cost is to DIY? You can FM me if you like. Do you need a lot of patience to do them? Any info will help....

That's the guest list. 60 adults, 9 children.

i think 40 invites are enough for 60 people assuming most of your guests are coming as couples.

count how many couples you have that are getting 1 invite.. i'm assuming the children are not going to get a separate invite and you have couples in there so maybe about 45?
you should definitely try to make the invites yourself.. its not that large of a number so i think it will be worth it
goodluck~ and sorry about me confusing you earlier

We did DIY pocketfold invites entirely on our own! FH helped quite a bit. It was worth it to us. I just couldn't find invites that I liked and were affordable.
We made the pocketfold from scratch. We started designing them about a year ago and do a little each night. We did contact a printer for the actual invitation part. It was about 35 dollars for her to print and cut them. It ended up being cheaper then printing them ourselves. But everything else is all us! Pics are in my album.

I made my own eparty invitations...They came out really great...I have to post pics soon!! They didnt take a lot of time to print, but I decided that I wanted to glue swarovski crystals all over them...and that was time consuming...But the printing wasnt too bad...

Re: How many of you did your own invitations?
i suggest since you don't have that many invites, just spend a little extra money on having them printed out for you. i don't think it's worth the hassle of ordering all your supplies including paper, accessories, paper-cutter, glue, etc...and spending the time to put it all together whether it be printing them out first on your own printer and then assembling it. be prepared to spend many many hours on your invitations if you decide to DIY.

Re: How many of you did your own invitations?
if the number of invitations you need is less than 100 you will pay almost as much for them as for the 100 because of the set up costs. so if 100 cost say 200, 75 might cost 170 and 50 would cost 130 or so - - not the $100 you'd think as 1/2 of the $200 price. I hope that makes sense.
I needed 55 invites and decided to get kits from Michael's. there were 50 in a box; I bought 2 boxes with coupons so it cost $42. then include price for an ink cartridge to print them. The kits don't udse inner envelopes so you might save on postage by lighter weight. the one I picked went with 1 41 cent stamp.
ac moore also has kits with all the materials ytou need included and you just print them. some kits have 25/box so you could get 2 or 3 boxes in case you need xtar for printing oopses.
with the kit I had left overs and did a second run to print bridal shower than yous with different wording. recipients were really impressed that I had gotten co-ordinating thank yous!
I found printing was not so bad but you need to take time to setup the page properly but there are instructions for that included.

Re: How many of you did your own invitations?
We did our own and loved them and they were simple. We paid maybe 75dollars for 200 invites inclduing printing (only used 135 though).
We bought the Wilstons set with daises and fleur de lis desgns on them, ran them through the printer and then glued paper dasies like on our escort cards, to each one by hand (that took work).
The sets (included invites, outer envelopes, RSVP cards and envelopes) were on sale with coupons so they were 15 bucks apiece. Then the flowers were a little pricey because we needed so many but the ink was minimal too. definetly the way to go IF you want simple.
If we did it again I would probably order from magnetStreet.com because they are affordable and less work. I didnt know about them at the time.
