It's SOOO annoying. They do it every holiday. One time the message didn't get to me an HOUR until after it was announced!

I always hated that whole business of not telling people when they can leave before a holiday. At my old job the boss actually used to sneak out so no one would know she had left early, with no announcement about when we could all leave, and everyone would sit at their desks and wait for the coast to be clear......so annoying!!!!

yeah, it's a big secret in the office, but today they actually told us first thing in the morning. usually they let us know like a half hour before they decide to let us out, soooo annoying!! but I'll be leaving at 1:00!!

I'm here at work and I will be here again Friday. There is hardly anyone here and hopefully we will get out around 1:00.

i'm working tonight and it does not bother me. i enjoy working around chrismas. i do not have kids yet, so i prefer to work. christmas is for kids and new year's eve is for adults. i will be enjoying bringing in the new year!!! to all enjoy the holidays!!!!

Big secret here too and because we're 'HR' we have to set an example and we're literally the last ones out every time...
