How many of you have....

Ordered your BM dresses? I was thinking about doing it in August. Just wanted some opinions. Too early? I found a dress I love, I tried it on..lol But I just want one of my BM to try it b/c it is not fitting it is more flowy and I want to make sure it looks nice on.

we are doing them on my next trip to LI so prob july or august so no i don't think it's too early.... i'd rather them have them that do it late and worry if they are getting in on time

I ordered my dress but not doing the BM till next year. My girls are getting Jim Hjelm dresses and just waiting for the fall 08 spring/fall 09 in case something else comes up. - not rushing it

i havent yet. we are going on may 31st
alfred angelo bm gowns take 3-4 months to come in. so i figure they'll come in around october so thats a good amount of time. i dont even think my dress will be in then.

actually.. i have no idea when my dress will be in lol
i'll find out on the 31st lol

i don't think that's too soon at all. i'd like to have mine done by june, which would be 11 months before the wedding, but i'd have peace of mind knowing that they're all picked out

It's never to early I think. Im taking my BM the first weekend in june to show them dresses I liked. Hopefully all goes well but Im also wondering if I should wait till the 09 line comes in, but then it may be too late.

I always think about the new line too, but if I don't look then I won't know. Also that stuff could drive you nuts and I don't think I want to wait until Oct.

I am not ordering until later this year. I have to go home to MI to fit both the Maid and Matron of Honor and my friend claims she wants to lose weight first.

I'm trying to get all of my girls to order the dresses now. I'm in January so I've only got about 8 months and I want to make sure they have plenty of time for potential mistakes/late delivery/etc. and alterations.

I've looked around at a few online but thats about it...I haven't even made definate decisions on who I'm having in my bridal party yet, although I'm pretty sure now..

I'm bringing my MOH with me when I go to get measured for my dress, so we can try some things out!

It is never to early. I ordered my girls dresses 1 year and 3 months early. I have plenty of time but I loved the dress and knew it was the one so I had to get them.
