How many of you--NWR

or your families are redoing certain parts of your house over before the weddning..

My famly is going nuts. wehavent really renovated anything in the past 10 years and the last thng we did was about 7 years which was the countertops in the kitchen... Since I got engaged this is what has been done!,.....


My moms bedroom got 100% overhall.. new floor, new paint.. new furniture..etc..
-the spare bedroom and the office- are still in the process of getting redone. rippingp carpet and redoing the wood floors.. ( we have family comng frm out of state staying with us for a week so we want it to look and feel nice)...
the livng room entrance and hallway- new furniture- light fixtures and redid the floors
another spare bedroom downstairs that we keep 2 big birds in- floor and paint
My dad is also planning on redoing the shingles on the house
My moms bathroom will be redone proabbly shortly after the wedding
Kitchen - new paint,,,, window and light fixtures
I think me getting engaged just gave them an excuse to redo everything LOL Is anyone else doing this as well????

mine too!

My parents have took out the carpet in there bedroom, painted, and plan on getting new furniture.

FILs painted every room again, gutted and refinished the entire kitchen and purchased a new living room set. FFIL is tempted to gut out the entire bathroom too! Not to mention last summer they completely gutted and did the entire backyard!
