Hi everyone,
Just curious how many 04 brides have ordered their dress already and if you have, how many of you have already experienced the second guessing panic?

Katherine: I bought my dress in February and never 2nd guessed myself.

I think your dress is absolutely beautiful. You're going to look GORGEOUS in that dress

Thanks Marcela! I don't know what my problem is, I really do think it is a beautiful dress, but yet I keep freaking out about it. I think it is because I found it so soon, I wasn't even seriously looking when I found it.

I don't think there's anything wrong with you. I think it's normal to be a little nervous esp. since our weddings are far away. But you fell in love with the dress for a reason. So don't drive yourself crazy. I think you should go try on the dress again and then see how you feel. I'm sure you'll fall in love with it all over again.

Marcela, LOL, I have done that already. I went to the Reem Acra boutique in the city and played it off like I didn't have my dress yet. When I tried mine on I fell in love all over again. The saleswoman even told me that it seemed like it was made for me! After I left there I felt totally reassured, but now that feeling is starting to wear off again. Maybe I should try Kleinfeld now!

LMAO Definitely try Kleinfelds or go back to Reem Acra and tell them that you're still thinking about the dress and want to try it on again
I know there's a Reem Acra opening up (or it may have opened already) on 60th St. between Madison and 5th. Have you tried that one?

Oh ok. I work right up the block from the store. They took so long to open it. I passed by it on Friday but didn't see anyone in there so I thought it hadn't opened yet.

I've tried it on 2 times and I know its the dress. The first time I tried it on I didnt feel it, but I went back and LOVE it.

I couldn't check LIW weddings yesterday night so sorry for the delay in letting you know how BEAUTIFUL your dress is!!! I'm sure you will look gorgeous!!! It's very elegant! I know what you mean about not being sure, but if you read other posts most girls got types of dresses that they never thought they would get! It's really beautiful, and I'm not just saying that. I also bought my dress at the Wedding Salon, and I'm sure they wouldn't let you buy a dress you didn't look great in.

I ordered mine in Feb. we got engaged in Dec. (we've been dating for 6 years) I knew what I wanted so when I tried on my 'dream dress' it looked horribleon me!! So after seeing what looked good on me, I really really liked this one dress everytime I tried on different dresses I kept comparing them to the dress that I loved. So I ordered it. Sometimes I think that I made a wrong decesion but thats only for a split second I am always comparing dresses from mags to mine and I always wind up still loving mine!

We got engaged in december. I ordered my dress by February. Wedding is May 2004. I just knew it was the one! It fits my personality so well! No second thoughts! Here it is

everyone's dresses are so pretty! Please don't second guess yourself! Did you second guess when FH prosposed?! LOL I know it was easier to fall in love than to find THE dress!! I am not getting married until nov 04' BUT this is the dress for me! you have to stop looking though or else you will lose your mind!!

p.s. God knows I'm not wearing my hair like the chick in the model!
