Cried when walking down the isle? and Reciting your vows?

I think bc Ronnie and I are writing our vows I will be a bawling mess.. and It takes ALOT for me to cry!

I swore I'd cry at my own wedding & while dancing with my dad but I didn't, I was too nervous, excited etc. And I always cry at wedding but not my own

Same for me! I am a huge cryer.... cry at other people's weddings all the time. I did get a little teary when I walked down the aisle and saw my mom waiting for me, but once I was actually reciting my vows and I was calm, cool and collected!!!

O I am definitely going to cry, and I am so not the crying type. I was crying on the train the other day listening to Kelly Clarkson's A moment like this, and thinking of what it is going to be like.

Im sure ill cry. The other night at the closing Pre Cana Mass they made us hold hands face each other while they read a poem about what it will be like when we get married and the 2 of us were getting teary eyed!

omg..i'm getting teary eyed reading everyone else's replies. I am pretty sure i'll be crying , probably in the limo w/my dad, seeing my FH at the end of the aisle,saying the vows, probably our first dance,dance with my father...my goodness!! i am going to have to get all waterproof makeup!!

Hey there!!! I did not cry at my ceremony either! Which surprised me because I was a huge ball of stress everyday leading up to it! The day before I kind of freaked a bit but the day of I was calm as anything! I really impressed myself! haha!

I too, thought I would definitely cry-- I will normally cry watching a wedding story on tlc, and those are people I dont even know.

But my eyes were dry--- go figure!

As soon as we saw the tears in Todd's eyes.. I was bawling that the MEAN girl next to me was like GURL u ok. I said :sniff: yes..........

I was like OMG My best friend is now a wifie!!!

And Oscar is the best!

I thought I would cry more than I did. Just a couple of tears fell while John said his vows. I thought for sure I'd cry when I danced with my dad but he had me laughing. I think he would have been balling if he didn't make me laugh. My stepmother and daughter as well as some of my dad's family were crying alot because there was a time a few months before my wedding that we didn't know if my father would be around for my wedding being he was in & out of the hospital with heart problems.

I cry just thinking about it and when I listen to sappy songs I start
But I never let anyone see me cry, and I usually somehow turn my tears into laughing.
I really think I will cry, but then I wonder if Ill be too in shock, nervous or excited to actually cry or will end up laughing instead.
My MOH BAWLED down the aisle, as did her dad and sister, then they set off the whole bridal party including the groomsmen (who are all in our BP also)
I wonder if I have enough Mimosas the morning of if I will be calm and tearless?

I, too, tear up just thinking about it. I think that walking down the isle with my parents is going to be emotional, especially with my dad because I have a feeling that he's going to get a little emotional.

I cry at everything so I am assuming that I will be a little teary when saying my vows. I am hoping to control myself so at least you can understand me but who knows. A lot of my friends say that I may be surprised by how calm I will be that day. I hope they are right.
