use your fine china? or will you just keep it in the China cabinet?
I use mine fairly often (I have had mine for a while my g-ma bought all 12 place settings), even if it is just FH and I. It is nice to cook a great dinner and treat yourselves nicely. I believe if you have it you should use it.
What do you all think?

FutureMrsTC - I totally agree, one of my friends at work has been married for over 5 years and has never used it once....what is the point of your family and friends buying it for you if you don't ever use it.

I will use it alot, for all holidays, and birthday's, anniversary's etc. Adn when I finally get my house, we will have dinner parties alot, so it will get used them too.

I am not buying really fine china - just casual china but definitely not to be used every day - I still want to use them often thoguh - no point in having them sit in a cabinet collecting dust (another reason why no fine china - bec i wont use them - too fancy)

It drives me crazy that my mom never uses hers! I'd like to use it when I host Sunday dinner, and of course for b-days, anniversaries and holidays.

we used ours so far for our 1st month anniversary. i plan to use it for birthdays, holidays, special occasions, as long as i give the nieces and nephews the 'ok to break' stuff instead.

I did not want fine china so I have 15 place setting of chinastone (casual china) - it's Lennox Poppies on Blue. I use that when I have company etc. Otherwise we use our regular set from Target, however, we registered for a new set of everyday dishes which is the Pfalzgraaf Summer Breeze pattern.
you know I was just thinking about this....mine is in boxes right now...since we are going to be moving...but I was just thinking (from my NW board post) that I love my casual china...but I don't like my 'formal' anymore...I guess I am screwed...
so I probably won't display it either....I'll probably wait for an anniversay and make DH buy me a new set...lol

I'll have 2 sets of fine china. My grandmother left me her good china when she passed away so I'll use that china for the Jewish Holidays. I registered for fine china as well and will use that for holidays (I was raised catholic. mom is catholic, dad is jewish), anniversaries, special occassions, and definatly sunday dinners

I dont have a dining room so I dont have a china cabinet. I have alot of cabinets in my kitchen and I have one big cabinet where I keep all my good stuff. I have used my china several times.
