How many of your FH's.........

still hold the door/open the car door for you?

I'm just curious and was thinking about that tonight. FH almost always opens my car door first and almost always holds the door open for me. I was just wondering how many others do the same??

Ha..mine never did!!

mine holds the door open for me all the time but not the car door- when we first started dating he used to (like once) until i told him to stop-

I LOVE that!! I love watching older couples still doing really cute things for each other!! I hope to be that couple one day!!

Reason # 2 FH still holds the car door open for me, read on:
On our second date before going out to dinner we got some coffee. After we were done we headed out to the car, up to that point he always opened the door, but that time he couldn't because the car was parked really close to a cement wall which was on my side of the car. So I had to squeeze by and open the door myself, and wouldn't you know it I HIT MYSELF IN THE HEAD WITH THE CAR DOOR! I thought I was going to die. I wouldn't let him see it at first, but he insisted...and Ladies his reaction was priceless...'OH MY GOD WE NEED TO PUT SOME ICE NO THAT!' I felt like such an idiot : I had a huge, and I mean HUGE bump on my forehead SO, we pulled into a gas station to get some ice, there was none, so he bought an Italian ice (coke flavor), and put it on my head. Needless to say we ordered in that night and he has opened the door for me every night since... (for obvious reasons)

Mine holds the entrance door open, pulls out my chair, stands up when I go to leave the table, and opens my car door when the weather is nice. HEY.. I can't have everything!

sometimes he needs a little gentle reminder, but more often than not he opens doors and stuff like that for me...

mine too....most of the time. of course the most of the time is when i'm perfectly fine waiting for him to open it. and the other times are when its raining and he goes for his door first and they say chivarly is dead
