How Many People are...

writing their vows? My FH wants to write our vows. I am freaking out a little but I think its cute...

we arent..I want traditional vows..plus I dont trust FH.. anyone see 'Night at the Roxbury'? When Will Ferell is getting married..his vows started with 'Thank you for letting me have sex with you' so to avoid that I'm sticking to tradition

I would just faint is FH wrote that hahaha. I dont know yet if we are writing our own vows...we havent really discussed it.

We haven't decided. I don't want to but FH does. Our officiant gave us a 'cheater' way to do it. We answer a bunch of questions and then she writes them for us.

I would really, really love to but I know FH wouldn't want to have that extra pressure on him and I guess it would be just one more thing to worry about.

I do think it's wonderful when couples write and recite their own vows.

I would love to!!!! FI thinks it's a great idea too but I know that I'm going to be crying waaaay too much to be able to say anything other than 'I DO'

We are writing our own vows. We found a website that has different vows, and we are just picking a few, and changing them to make it a little more personal.

Not sure if that qualifies as 'writing our own' though....hmmm.....
