How many people are you inviting? With poll

I've noticed a lot of different numbers and was just curious. I am inviting about 240 (and can't think of many who won't be coming!!)

Our A and B list is about 180.
Our Guarantee is 150.
So I guess we'll be right around there.
I always forget to add me and FH though..

Our list is at about 175. We're hoping for about 140-150. We hardly have any OOT guests. I'm a little worried that everyone will come. Has this ever happen to anyone?

We have a min. of 150 - I think we are inviting about 175-180 but ALOT of those people are a definite 'yes' hardly any oot guests. We just hope we make the min. but dont go over

I invited 194...I'm getting responses where people are inviting themselves and my room only holds about 150-160...and people aren't saying NO!! I think we'll be filling the room.

Our list isn't final yet, but probably around 240. We guaranteed 200 and thats how many I really want.

We have 278 on our list with 30 OOT's & we're want to make out min of 200.

The list is at 255 now. I wanted max of 150 - obviously this was not my choice! Is that 20% figure usually fairly accurate? That'd be ok, that would be right at 200. There are some people included in the 255 though that may be cut closer to the wedding. This, to me, is the absolute hardest part of planning!

468 is the most I have ever heard!!

I know! But since FH is OOT, all of his guests, family, friends and Co-workers are OOT. He invited everybody he works with (and their wives)...100+ ppl. He knew only a handful could come to NY but he didn't want to pick and choose.

we invited 214 and are having 146. I wanted 150, so its a perfect amount. A lot of the people who aren't coming are out of state relatives of our parents, who are much older and the trip is to much of a strain for them to make.

Our final list is at 152 I think. I have quite a few oot couples so there will be some no's. Our room minimun is 135 so I hoping to get about that, and no more than 140...hopefully!!

We will be inviting between 200-225. I actually have to finalize my list this weekend. Our minimum is 175.

We're in the same boat....We are inviting 475 and about 250 are OOT. FILs wanted to send invites to everyone they know in Chicago. FFIL even sent an invitation to his secretary from 1975! W T F? Just bc you exchange x-mas cards, doesn't mean you have to invite them to the wedding. They keep saying that most of them won't come. From their lips to God's ears.
