how many people attended/will attend your wedding?
Just curious.......do you think it is tacky and too late to maybe ask a few more people because we surprisingly came in about 10 under the min? Our wedding is 7/28

No I don't think it's too late, the worst that can happen is they'll say no. I just invited somebody last week and they were so glad and they're coming. So it can't hurt to try!

I dont think its tacky. We had people who thought they werent invited b/c their invites got returned to us...so definitely not. Send them and see-worst that happens is they say no

I agree with the above posters....its not tacky at all..the worst they can say is no.. Trust me..Im still inviting people..

We came in 6 under our min. I had my sister ask one of her friends last week to see if they wanted to come for a free dinner and drinks since we had to pay for it anyways. They thought it was awesome and are coming. I told them they don't have to worry about a gift either.

I think it is fine. I told my little brother that if people are no shows are on the big day then he can call up his friends an dhave them come. Someone is going to eat that food.

Yeah, if you think they would be OK with being asked last minute then ask away.
I told FH if go under 180 then we can start to ask the B-list and he can invite some people from work. But I don't see that happening cause I just sent out invites to 240 people and STD's went out to all but 2 people back in Jan!!!

If you are 10 under, don't forget to count your vendors, you and your FH, to make up the 10.
Even though you would have paid half for your vendors most probably, I'd rather pay full price for them and meet your minimum than pay for your minimum ANYWAY and then on top of that pay 1/2 price for your vendors.

We are inviting a little over 160 and are expecting about 125-ish. Our minimum is 100 so as long as we meet that, we'll be happy.

I think it's absolutely fine, I invited 270 people to the wedding hoping to get at least 200 which is our minimum. We had about 190 say yes so i invited more people just explaining to them that i had so much family to invite first and now that some can't come I would love to have them there.

this is a great idea.
doing it some other ways, ppl may be touchy as some other posters mentioned, since its really obvious theyre kinda space fillers. hate to put it that way.
i cant believe it, i wanted a small wedding but wow i really got one. 45 ppl. We invited about 100, like 50 on my side and 50 on fh's side. But fh is from Alaska so all his fam are out West and the trip would be way too much. So we have a really small turn out but Im happy bc I know it will be so comfortable and intimate. (also, we don't have a min).
