This question has probably been posted a million times before, but I'm wondering (a) how many people you invited to your wedding and (b) how many people attended/will attend. Newlyweds and brides with their RSVPs in can play!

ETA: We have a LOT of OOT guests that can't make it...I feel like our number of 'no's' might be higher than average as a result...

I have about 275 invited, I think.... jsut sent my invites out less than a week ago and have gotten about 15 responses back- ALL YES so far.
But FI has a lot of family from HI who wont be coming-so we have estimated about 225...but not for certain yet.

This makes me feel better. We wanted to have 150 people. We were inviting 175 and thought that was possible. In the last 3 months - we have added a lot of people making it 215 people invited.
I was worried we'd have too many people but hopefully lots of people will be on vacation.
My FH is inviting about 25 people. I'm inviting about 25. The rest (165 are my parents friends!!!)

We invited 240 and as of yesterday 207 are coming. Most people who are not coming are family from Greece and South America that we invited.

Does anyone know what the average percentage is for Yes's and No's? Right now we're at 238 (and I wanted a 150 person wedding - yeah, ok). I really really really want it to be 200 or under and I'm not sure if that's about what I should be expecting or more.

I think they say its about 20% ... Its higher if you have alot of OOT guests or are on a holiday weekend.

It's good to see the wide range of responses here. I was interested in seeing the ratio of invitations to acceptances.
I too have a lot of OOT guests and the number of 'nos' makes me sad, especially a few particular disappointments I've posted about here before. Then again, I think I will have the smallish wedding I wanted in the first place, so I'm looking on the bright side!
There are still some stragglers yet to respond too, of course.

ETA: More yes's came from FH OOT family than expected after his sister passed away somehwhat suddenly ... either people who could not make wake/funeral or just realized how precious life & family are ...

i guaranteed 250 and thta is what we are paying for i think we are inviting about 290.... we usually have a great record with people coming so i hope it is not a problem

Invited 150 so far 96 are coming, 10 are not.. still waiting on about 25 people (FI friends who are coming but dont know how to put a response card in the mail) ughh.. so frustrating...

These numbers are getting me nervous. Our list is 200 and our we must guarentee 150. I hope we make it.
