I want to get a different cell phone service. Right now I am using Cingular *well I guess it is AT&T.
But I hate it and I always have. I always have dropped calls...and my service stinks alot now. And with FH being in Japan and having limited amount of time on the phone with him I don't want to be worrying about service...
Plus I like the 5 friends deal with TMobile how you can save 5 numbers into your MyFavs and get the unlimited calls to them- especially since FH will be using a landline (Vonage) which is a LI number but wont be cingular service while in Japan. I just dont want my cell bill to go up alot so I figured TMobile would be great.,.
ANYONE use or like or dislike Tmobile??

I've got T-Mobile for years....ever since it was Voicestream. I've never, ever had a problem with them (their customer service is great!). I'd say I have great call-service about 91% of the time. I even had service in the Catskills where NO ONE else had it. I live in the Commack area.
I say go for it.

I live out in Jackson Heights queens but during the weekend I'm out in Coram, Riverhead, Oysterbay kind of everwhere but it seems to work for me.

I live in Babylon so I was wondering if Suffolk or Nassau has different reception qualities...lol
I live in Queens and never had a problem with TMobile - maybe the service there is better?

Catie my friend has t-mobile and complains about it ALL the time!
I have verizon and never have any problems or dropped calls.

thanks Anna. I know I am soo confused as what to do. I think I might just stay with Cingular since I believe it is just my crappy phone and not the service and just get a new phone

One of my BMs switched to T-Mobile from Verizon and the second her contract expired, she went right back to Verizon.
FH had Sprint, hated it - and has been a happy Verizon customer.
I had AT&T (before Cingular) had a ton of awful experiences and I am a Verizon woman now and it cannot get any better.
Everyone I know who has strayed from Verizon, has come back so I will never change! I only have 400 minutes per month and I only use around 100 because everyone I know is 'in'!!!!

ive had tombile for a while now and would never switch ever again unless they pulled a cingular and got bought out
i used to have verizon and for like 3 months in a row..i would use 200 miutes..and get charged close to $1000 for it..VERIZON HAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!
and their billing is silly too
it goes bu one date for the entire company..where as tmobile is when you get service
