Im just wondering if the one photog can get all the shots i want- i have friends who had 1 photog and were fine with their proofs.

We have 2 photographers. One basically takes pics of us. And the 2nd does the photojournalism pics (of the rooms, the flowers, the tables...for special effects, mostly) and also photographs guests, table pics, etc.

having two is helpful...u catch every moment. But if u had one im sure everything would come out fine. I went with a place that offers two so it wasn't extra... i wouldn't have paid for a second person

We are getting two, but only because we want photojournalistic shots as well as traditional posed/candid.
Same here and I have approx 225 people coming so I need as much coverage as possible.

im having one....one of the reasons why i booked marco was because he was very straightforward with this...
i asked about a photojournalist, which is about 1K more
he told me, 'put it towards ur honeymoon...i do candid, photojournalisitc photos as well, paying for the photojournalist just means u will have 10 more of the same shot that i just took...dont worry, u will get ur photojournalistic moments, id rather not take another $1000 from u and instead just recommend me to other brides'
so that made me feel really good about it, what company tells u NOT to spend more money??
plus knowing that i am having HIM do my wedding im more comfortable, cuz i know that ill get the kind of shots i want

I did 2 b/c I wanted photo journalistic AND I am NOT doing video. So I felt it was justified. I am also big on pics. That's the one place we agreed to splurge!
