How many pictures are in your albums?

I went to see Verdi last night and really like them. Their photos are wonderful and they seem like great people to work with. The only thing that worries me is that their albums (which are beautiful) only include 30 pictures. The parent albums only include 20. I could upgrade to an album with 75 photos, but that is an extra $500, extra prints for the albums are also pretty pricey. So I'm wondering how many prints are in your albums? Since this is my first photographer I don't have much to compare it to, but I did read in a bridal book that you should have between 60 and 80 photos in an album. What do you think?

my album would be somewhere b/w 50-60 and the parents have 30...
verdis sounds a bit low, but let's see what the other girls say..

I went to Verdi and they were a bit pricey. I checked out and liked Patken. I went with about 45 photos

My album is an 11x14 with 40 Pages. The way the pictures are laid out on the 40 pages will determine how many pictures I get. For example if I put two 5x7s on a page or one 8x10.

My original contract was for 100 pics in the album, but I went down to 80 to lower the cost. I'm using JoVon.

I will have 56 photos in my album; parents will have 20.

My album will be 10x10 and have 60 pages. It'll probably be more actual pics b/c I'll break up some pages.

I think how your album is put together you can end up with more pix and and the same # of pages. We added 6 extra pages to our album...so hard to narrow down. The number of pages does not determine how many pix you will have in the album, unless you did all the pix the same size and have 1 pix on each page. Remember if you do composites (more than one pix on a page) you will end up with a lot more pictures.

I am getting a 8 x 10 album with 50 pictures and the parent albums are 5 x 7 with 18 pictures.

I have 45 pics in my album...someone said 150
That is a lot of pics. I thought my book was heavy

we went to see VIP on saturday & he had a package with 100 pictures. we both wanted that so badly!! especially after we saw his photographs! but for the same price, we can get a 45 picture album, parent albums, loose photos, & a video. so 45 pictures it is!

56 in my album, 24 in the parent albums, and a favorama album

I have 89, and my mom's has 45. My photographer had no packages and I could have as many as I wanted. I paid by the picture.
